Those are similar to what I'm planning Dave. The FB is a repurposed wood burning stove so the door has the original wood burner vents. Thought maybe it'd be enough but I had to crack the door to get the temps up. Obviously the fire was starving for oxygen. I'll probably leave the originals...

Got me a new toy today. Picked up a plasma. Played with it all day. Even got my plenum and exhaust done. Pretty happy with it. Almost got the reverse flow plate done but ran out of argon.
No worries Isaac. If you look in the pic you can see the backing plate that Dave and Fred are talking about behind the weld seam. Just makes things easier on a tank.
