    Who remembers these?

5 gallons of beer in a plastic keg with tap, inside of a waxed cardboard box to hold ice. The good old days....

    Leg Quarters on the grill

First leg quarters this summer. 4 of them. Salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder and some fresh lemon juice. Pics when done. I'm getting hungry!

Planning ahead - Upgrade to Sausage Making Equipment

I agree about moving the equipment. When I finish the cooking area in my garage, I have a bench set up for the electric stuffer and grinder. Between uses I will keep them covered.

Hot Dogs: Side by side comparison

You might look for Hofmanns. They went national a few years ago. I'm pretty sure you can get Glaziers shipped. Edit: They do ship. Here is the link - https://glazierhotdog.com/online-store/

Planning ahead - Upgrade to Sausage Making Equipment

I have the LEM 20# electric stuffer. Love it. I would also look into Hakka Bros equipment. I don't own any but hear a lot of good things about them.

Hot Dogs: Side by side comparison

I repeated the side by side this evening... Just dogs, kraut and mustard on a toasted bun... According to participants, Glazier beat Hoffmann again..... Hoffmann on left, Glaziers on the right.

The view got in the way!

Loved fishing the cut. Can't do it now.... Used to be trees on both the lake side and harbor side. We caught huge smallmouths under the bridge, and tons of bullhead on the harbor side. Used to build a bonfire and fish until the sun came up. Trees all gone now, can't fish there anymore...

    Garage Canning/Cooking area

I have a 2 1/2 stall detached garage. 1 stall is reserved for firewood and my tractor. The 2nd stall is used to store riding mower, snow blower, 4 wheeler, smokers etc. That leaves 1/2 stall "empty". I can't store a vehicle in my garage! So, I've been slowly clearing stuff out, making some...

    Pickle Time

I use a water bath. Just a recipe from Ball. You need to try the pressure canner. Great for canning chicken and beef, beef stew etc.

    Pickle Time

Been 2 weeks. Just did a side by side comparison between Kosher Dill and Polish Dill. They were both outstanding! Very crunchy this time. Wish I had made more!

    Slot Grill?

Nice! What size did you get? I ordered the 16 x 9 cooking area model. Should be awesome for my purposes, but who knows? Maybe room for a larger one down the road!

    Slot Grill?

If it is as sturdy and easy as advertised, I'm getting rid of my cast iron hibachi. I have no doubt it will see lots of use if it functions as advertised! Can't wait for the first cook-maybe just some hotdogs to break it in.
