Well, I've done a lot of different jobs since getting out of the Army back in 86. I've built cars on an assembly line, programmed robotic mig welders and built houses just to name a few. I've worked in the printing industry for a long time now. I currently manage a printing department and a...
A father buys a lie detector robot that slaps people when they lie.
He decides to test it out at dinner one night.
The father asks his son what he did that day.
The son says, "I did some schoolwork." The robot slaps the son.
The son says, "OK, OK. I was at a friend's house watching movies."...
It's been stalled. Life has been happening here by the barrel full. All my energy has been going towards retaining my sanity. I hope to get back on it soon. Thanks for asking.
It works great! I didn't like the idea of welding a piece of angle down the center either. This way no matter where something drips, it takes the most direct path to the drain. Basically I cut the plate to fit the inside dimension of the tank at the level I wanted the highest end. I made the...
Thank you. The Orange paint has actually started fading as it sits in direct sunlight all the time. I haven't had a chance to try yet but I think a little polishing compound should bring it back to life. I've moved it just under the edge of the roof over my back patio to help protect it. Long...
I love that Overhaulin show! This big lump of manly man tears up every time! Or how about American Restoration or the new one, Counting Cars! That truck that Danny drives is so cool! I can't die before I get a chance to restore something like that. That and an old Knucklehead. Then I can die...
Got a new power cord wired up and was very relieved to find that it still works when I flip the very old toggle switch.
Finally started polishing the base plate, Looks like it's going to come out pretty shiny.
I used the same engine enamel for my trailer that I used for the cook chamber, but my trailer isn't all that big either. I didn't worry about the curing/hardening procedure used when actually painting engine blocks. I also used the correct primer and once it was all dry it seems durable enough...
I've heard that a couple times now, but that's just not part of the plan. What's the point in having it if you don't use it?
That would be like building an awesome custom bike and never riding it, or making a delicious sandwich and not eating it,
or getting your wife that boob job she keeps...
I leave it all in there. Then when I remove it from the smoker I let it rest in the Au jus so that the meat can hold as much of it as possible. After I slice up the brisket I also ladle some over the meat slices.
I looked deep inside my soul and meditated for a long period of time.
Mine is a combination of Bubba and Bonehead. Both alone could be fitting, together it's dialed in.
Or it's the last thing I typed before I stopped getting that "already used" message.
