    After thinking it over, I decided that I would be using the vertical chamber most anytime I was using this smoker. With that, I decided to not have the extra stack and open the vertical chamber to free flowing heat and smoke, and having the stack on top the vertical chamber.

    Yeah, its just tacked in place for alignment. There are going to be some gussets where the hinges attach to the firebox.

    Here is the vertical tank so far, firebox welded in and the stack stub also installed.  I've got some grinding to do on the caps for the exhaust/intakes, but its functional for now. This is the side that will be welded to the horizontal cook chamber. It has a couple of alignment...
