    There is a product called Totally Awesome at the dollar store for $1. Its cuts the nasty stuff easily if thats your goal.

    Would unburned pellets absorb moisture if sitting in smoker over a period of time? I use my Masterbuilt electric under a vinyl covered ceiling on occasion with no problem. But usually there is a wind to move the smoke along.

    What size Masterbuilt Smoker?

    I have a 30" and wish I bought a 40 instead. Not so much the size but the 40's have a higher wattage element that would recover faster after door is opened, and when first loaded and things like that!

    Keep an eye out at Walmart and Lowes. Usually in Sept they start clearing out stock and the prices drop a lot!

    I cant help you but I will say my daughter bought one like that at Aldis a few years ago for $69. Its long gone but she had similar problems.
