    Good point, didnt even give that a thought. We run ours right on the metal but I guess I should of thought of that earlier, probably the problem.

    Got the stand started tonight, ordered pneumatic solid rubber casters so I will wait to do more until those come in.  Other than that just did more welding on various areas.

    Thats really strange then, We havent used the oxy to cut since we bought the plasma. Maybe unscrew the tip and make sure the  components are still good, something may be burned up causing your problems.  With ours it looks like a factory cut when done, smooth as glass.

    Was gone most of the day, had a few hours to work at it tonight. Got the firebox door on! We made the door a little bigger so we could put angle iron around the box, this will be a good place to add our seal, dresses it up a tad too. Cut a pipe into 5 sections for our hinge, used threaded...
