    New Year's Eve/Day

Thank you Clif, the CPB filets are fantastic! They're quite lean but plenty juicy. I'm just glad I didn't mess it up :emoji_laughing: Thank you Mike, I really appreciate it!

    Killer IP Split Pea Soup

Just wanted to say I followed your IP recipe for the split pea soup, and it sure is good! It's definitely a keeper. Just finished making it for us to have for dinners for a few days...but I couldn't resist a little taste. Thanks again for the recipe @Burly567

    New Year's Eve/Day

Thank you and thanks again for the steaks Robert. I have some more lobster tails in the freezer. I'm going to pair them with some of those awesome ribeyes that you sent me for Valentine's Day. Sure beats a card and chocolate. Happy new year to you as well!

Homemade Fettuccine, Roasted Garlic & Broccoli Alfredo, & Sausage (Pics)

Robert, the pasta alfredo looks truly decadent like you said...and the jerky looks great also! Now that you're making homemade pasta, you could take advantage off all that extra starch and finish the pasta in your sauce. That sauce will cling to the pasta like hair on a gorilla! Excellent job...

    New Year's Eve/Day

New Year's Eve is always a nice dinner for us to close out the year and it usually involves surf n' turf. My friend Robert aka @tx smoker was gracious enough to send me a few goodies for Christmas. So for NYE dinner, I thawed out some Certified Piedmontese Beef Filet Mignons. They were...

    Got a bit creative.

Grreaat looking jerky Steve! Great minds must think alike because I marinated some leftover pork loin in similar seasonings yesterday. It’s going on the dehydrator shortly…and once you get a proper dehydrator like that, there’s no going back to old ronco styles or even the oven.

    Homemade Soup .

Sorry Chop, had a response all typed up the other other day and forgot to hit send, late to the party but soup gets better as it sits, so I’ll gladly take bowl. The bowl of soup and grilled cheese is all day winter comfort food for me!

    Creamy Sauerkraut Soup

That’s got to be good Jeff! I like some sauerkraut in my soup, it reminds me of a creamy version of Kapusniak. Excellent job my friend.

    Full sour pickles.

I bet those will be good Steve! I’m eager to see how they turn out. Also, I’ve always kind of blew off making my own kraut because there’s always someone around me that made their own. But I like the spicy additions that you and Jeff have done, so i’ll be digging around for your threads in the...

    Soup Forum?

I like the idea of both. I make soups weekly almost exclusively during the winter months. I have a bunch in my sig that I refer to. I haven’t figured out how to add more since the format change, but having a specific sub forum would be helpful (I always posted my soup threads by protein)

    Chuck Roast Burnt Ends

Lol, ours have free reign of the house but we keep our furniture covered. When Remy had her tplo surgery, we took apart the bed frame and slept on the mattress on the floor for a few months. When she was cleared to jump, I thought our frame was still too high, so I took a sawzall to the metal...
