    I picked up a smoke hollow propane smoker for free. Its missing a few parts and the burner doesn't work very well.     I believe it is the 18 inch Weber grate. The one's that came with the grill are really cheap and flimsy. I can't find a 14 inch one.

    How deep should my fire pan be? I'm using a small grill for one and it's only about 2 inches deep with a raised grate.
