    Help with my smoker!

Hola, good advice above from the guys You should be able to find some 100x100x 1.6mm o (2mm)  square tube that will work fine for exhaust. Search for a local chatara (scrap dealer) and you should be able to pick up some square tube or even  4.75 0 6mm (3/16  or 1/4") plate  to work on a new...

    First Build 20" Offset

check out my 20" smokers I build.  $5 for each idea you steal     http://www.ahumadoras.com/productos/ahumadora-para-el-hogar/home-smoker-1200-x-500-mm/ No reason to fun the horizontal tube for the base, just weld the legs straight to the smoker. Make the firebox opening to cook chamber...

    Planning out my first build

too tall and flimsy. They will bend in a heartbeat.     Go for something more sturdy and lower profile. also with the pivot there it will only open halfway. 3/16" is fine for firebox.   My small smokers use 3/16" steel and all you need to do is toss in another lump of wood to compensate. If...

    Horizontal/vertical WH smoker build

Pollard, ou are knocking that out pretty quick. Yep Argentina is all F%#$# up and always will be.    Only thing I can see is you may want to reinforce where the hinges are welded ontothe door seal of the horizontal cooker.   They may flex or work the weld on the flange. Post us food pics and...

Help with a 250 RF smoker with a warming box.

Hi there. It comes down to cost/time you need to invest in it. If you live in a cold climate and plan to smoke outside it maybe worthwhile. For me insulating the warming cabinet on a smoker for ocasional use is not worth it.

Need Help w/ figuring out RF Fuel Tank Smoker/Cooker build

I worry more about ground clearance under the firebox  . That pretty much dictates the height of the firebox.  then it is a trade off of height from the RF plate to racks vs  FB to RF plate height. A little height difference is not going to matter

How to cut doors on a smoker

Ok, so I decided to turn a perfectly good propane tank into a useless 500 gallon trailer smoker. ;) I will give you a step by step run down of how I cut doors out. Place the tank on the ground or at an easy working height. then select which side looks the best to cut , so you will not have a...
