Here's what I did. Keep a piece of scrap from the bottom of the tamale pot, or cut a strip from the original pot lid, fold it for thickness and hammer it flat. Smooth the edges, bend I to a hook, and one ss bolt to hold in to the lid. Works great. Just like the lid hook on a full size weber kettle.
