    So picked up a berkel 808 runs good but could use a good cleaning and some lubricant. This is my first slicer so what do I grease this thing up with and what's the best cleaners to use on these? When is the berkel 808 from?

    It was a waste. Was missing the slider handle,one grinding stone was chipped pretty bad,blade looked pitted and dull, oh and didn't run lol I think relay went bad.

    New Smoker build from downunder.

    Bigger one would give ya more room to work with and more importantly more room to smoke all kinds of goodies. Those are both nice looking fridges tho.

    I got a 9/16 gap on my door should I get a 5/8 rope or get a little bigger at 3/4 for a tighter seal?

    Yes and no. There is a grove on the door where I can put the sheet metal in to fit where the plastic use to be.     Can I oil it and bake it in the smoker? I dont think the piece I will need for the door will fit in my oven. I am assuming you mean oil it up bake it then oil again and bake again correct?

    Does the metal for the door need to be stainless steel? I know I can't used any galvanized metal. But what does everyone else use?

    Alrighty I got to working again I sanded the fridge down put a little primer on for now. I ordered everything I need except for the gasket. Seems like the place to go for that is mcmasters.
