In Atlanta... is Rodney Scott's worth a visit?

I got conned into attending a tech event near Georgia Tech . Yelp says there's a Rodney Scotts nearby. I'm embarrassed I'm not familiar. it's close enough to Uber. Worth a shot?

Sometimes you just have to have brisket burnt ends

without rehashing the cost of beef these days, I got a little brain message telling me it was time for burnt ends. Luckily my local Latin meat market regularly offers precut point and flat cuts of brisket. Prohibitively expensive at $8.99/lb, but my mind was set and it looked like a well marbled...

I can see the patio from my "office" chair. i saw a small rodent scurry across my cover last night. traps and/or bait would not be...

    Sunday pork tenderloin.

With the price of beef lately, we've been doing a lot more pork. while I don't particularly care for "marinated in the package", it does make for a quick Sunday smoke. Walmart had these pre-marinated garlic and pepper jobs for a decent price. $10 all in. Mama found this "unique "sauce in the BBQ...

Tri Tip- didn't go as planned! quite...

What everybody said. Slicing right is important. I do mine on kettle @250-ish until 120 internal, then move to hot zone o sear. end temp135. Tri tip has dual grain. cutting across the grain helps but the grain is different on the skinny side compared o the fat side.
