I saw an interesting pic on my fb post the other day. Was trying to post it here, but not having much luck. Guess I'm better at cooking than using smart phones.
I enjoy the "baby sitting" that I have to do with my smoker. But I can definitely see the allure of set it and forget it. Maybe someday when I settle down and get off the road, I'll go that route. And it sounds like you you made a great buy. Good luck and good smoking.
I am thankful to be alive. To be an American. To be able to work and make a good living. To be able to enjoy life and the things that make me happy. I am thankful for my family and friends. And I thank God I'm a Texan. :)
Do they still make a product called "ospho"? My spelling may be wrong but it was a green colored liquid made by 3m, I believe. My dad always had a big bottle of it in the garage. It use to nutrilize rust on contact. Good stuff if you can find it. Sand it down and paint over it.
I had the same machine, but never used it for dough. Preferred to get my hands dirty and workout my frustration by kneeding it my self. Lots of fun too. Keep me busy till my dinner came off my ECB. :)
I'll try and fit one on my JJ with the barrel extension. Probably a smaller bird 10-12 lbs. Fosters can might be too big. I'll look around and see what I can find. And I'll be sure and take pics. Thanks.
Majority of my real smoking experience is with the vertical ECB, (Brinkman). Put the fish on the top rack and ribs below. If put on at same time, fish will be done first so easier to take off. Ribs might drip fat onto fish if they were on top, but thinking now that might taste good. LOL. Good...
