I was reading the reviews on Amazon and one post said it had a tag inside, Made in China. Ok course it doesn't have to be true, could be just someone sitting on a nail being negative.
I had this happen to me a couple of times. Now I always make sure I turn the temp back to low before I turn it off. Since I started doing this haven't had a problem. I do pull the power cord often as well.

This looks like an interesting option. I have watch people cold smoke with just a smoke tube and smoke lower then 180° using the different rack levels in the smoke box. Would be nice to have someone whom I trust give their opinion.
