MES 30 SPORTSMAN ELITE HEATING ELEMENT MOD for AMNPS Repositioning and Airflow Improvement

I have been trying to get the AMNPS Pellet Smoker away from the Element Heat which was accelerating burn of pellets and charring them which ruined smoke quality and color, also as a follow up to the Smoke Stack Mod, I also increased the fresh air intake port size and made a baffle/diffuser for...

    Pellets and humidity?

Sig, Now I know what the inside looks like, I would still take that flex intake to the bottom center of the box and have it off the bottom evenly all the way around about 1 inch, this way fresh air will hit the bottom and create a draft to all 4 walls, it will then feed the fresh along the...

    Considering buying an Electric smoker

Sigmo, Love the thoughts, this is how it is done, so many ideas and eventually with all this we will find a way to get it right, then we need to join together and produce our own brand ! My AMNPS is over the Element, but I too ran into the issue of high temps burning the pellets, so that is...

That's what I found here as well ..................if I had found a deal I could have driven for I most likely would have but it was either the price of a good used car or some really rough looking stuff, one had a motor that was bad, looked like it had been dragged behind a car and they still...

Is it time for a new smoker?

Nice, never seen one of those, but though a little smaller (like my old brinkman, it was even smaller) its looks very well built and quite versatile ! Made very tight, that is what I like  :)

I did check Craigs List before I gt mine but they had some rag tag units in there at the time, but I could not find one local, I would be afraid to see the shipping costs for shipping one of the real commercial ones as they would most likely be very near 100 lbs, but my other concern was...

    Considering buying an Electric smoker

My Analog has better smoke flavor than my old brinkman or the chargrill, but then I use the AMNPS Pellet Smoker  :), but then any MES should be the same as long as you have consistent smoke. And I would never leave the Foodies, never !  Just never know what could happen, do not want to mess up...

Well, mine has been onboard for all of this, I have the wire to get the power out to the barn and my shop where I keep my bike, now the fun part, 70 ft of 18" deep trench, once I get that done the conduit (plastic) and the terminations are a breeze, and she knows I have been wanting to do this...
