I figured I should give a follow up since I posted it in the open forum (prostate biopsy)

Got the last treatment today. Now a few months wait until they start checking my PSA to see where it's at. It should fall to 0.5 eventually, but it may take 18 months to get that low.

Is BBQ Food is Cause of Cancer?

There is one sure cure but most of us who have cancer do what we can to avoid it

    Storage?

I've done either. Grinding before freezing allows you to better incorporate the fat throughout the whole batch of meat before portioning it out and freezing. I generally grind, mix to incorporate the fat, vac seal and freeze 1KG per bag. Most of my recipes have been adapted so that they are...

Is BBQ Food is Cause of Cancer?

Is BBQ Food is Cause of Cancer? Improper cell division is the cause of cancer. If anyone knew why this happens, or how to correct it so that it doesn't, they'd be sitting on a pot of gold. A lot of theories exist, as to why, but they are just that ....... unproven theories.

Is BBQ Food is Cause of Cancer?

Well, we can't cease to be humans that require air, so maybe quitting toilet paper will cut cancer by 1/3. Then we'll have a water shortage from increased bidet use lol.

Is BBQ Food is Cause of Cancer?

Probably tens of thousands of gallons of various pesticides applied over my career as an arborist. I preferred being a climber to being a pesticide applicator, but I wore both hats.

Is BBQ Food is Cause of Cancer?

One week, reports say eating this will kill you. The next week, no we were wrong, go ahead and eat it. Next week, some other food is gonna kill you ...... Take it all with a grain of salt. Ain't any of us getting out alive so best enjoy what time you have on this rock by eating what you enjoy...

    Pulled chicken ahead of time?

Chicken stock/broth if foil panning. If you're going the vac seal/sous vide reheat way, nothing needed. If you try to add broth, the vac sealer will suck it out and mess up your seals, unless you have a chamber vac sealer.

    No sauce

I agree 100%. I use a finishing sauce on pulled pork, and BBQ sauce is always served on the side. I prefer mine with the finishing sauce only.

    Pulled chicken ahead of time?

Not a whole lot different. I smoke and carve my turkeys a day before Thanksgiving. All the sliced meat goes in foil pans and kept in the fridge overnight. On the day of the meal, I add some broth and reheat the foiled pans. Pulled chicken should be fine the same way. Vac sealing and reheating...

    crazy sandwiches

Don't remember where I heard it, but I recall someone swapping their own piss for some piss his girlfriend supplied. When the analysis came in, they said, "Congratulations, you're pregnant!".

    Not too long ago

All I did this afternoon was push mow (with a self propelled mower, no less) this little spot around this swing contraption my wife just had to have and was wringing wet. Damn, it was hot!! An old pic ........ it has swings all the way around now.

I don't get the hate on Pellet Smokers.

Some of us have reached the peak and dialed it back some for simplicity sake. No Q is bad Q, just different degrees of good Q!

I don't get the hate on Pellet Smokers.

I love my Camp Chef cooker! Does it deliver as pronounced smoke flavor as my stick burner? No, but I really have no complaints with a little lesser smoke flavor for the convenience of the pellet rig.
Great deal on LEM Grinders!
