    I was given one of those. It worked well for a couple of barbecues then for no reason it failed and the probe is backordered. They did not seem to care that it did not last very long.Just wanted my credit card number so I could wait for a new one

    I use DR. Pepper for mine put them in the kettle on indirect about two hours delicious and moist.

    I cannot find the big block except for online its the black one other than not being stainles steel is ther a difference between the two?

    having trouble maintaining temp!???!!

    I have an ECB also and until I used the minion method I had the same problem. I use kingsford briquettes and put a little depression in the pile of charcoal then place the lit charcoal in the depression. I light more if its cold less if its warm outside but it keeps a steady temp.
