Some one on here years ago suggested a mixture of cornstarch and flour to dust on the skin before letting it dry out in the fridge. It works well and can be combined with any dry rub as well. I scoured my recipe box but I cannot find it. I think it was a 50/50 mix though.
Awesome looking bird...
Welcome in!
Nice looking rig on the website. Let's see some Q with it!
Smokers can be like bass boats. I've yet to see a largemouth jump into a Nitro nor a good q come out of a pit without someone knowing how to use it.
Good on you.
If you go to work doing something you like, you will not work a day again.
After retiring from the military and civil service, I was struggling to find something I like to do for an income. I went back to aircraft maintenance but my schedule and age / stress drove me into a heart...

I have to agree with everyone else. That just looks like a bad idea from the get go. I'm a scrape, water to deglaze and cloth towel clean to dry and then a recoat of canola. My BS is covered with an aftermarket metal lid. No problems.
I got the one with the coal dump basket underneath. I didn't go with the Performer as Dave mentioned simply because I keep all my Webers in my shed, space is limited.
The very bare bones minimum is fine to start with, get some experience with it and if you think you need the upgrades, then go...
Nuff said.. Pulls and drag races are ultimate display of raw power .. outside of rocket launches..
Bernstien and Force fan here..
I think it was art alfons? that screwed two turbine engines to a puller. I do love the Cummins powered 4x4s in the sled pull though.
