    Thank you! Yes the stuffer made it so easy! The clean up is minimal and easy. I'm thinking about getting another just to have as a spare just in case something crazy happens!

    The air intake was the problem I see with the drum. You could possibly set it on some bricks to let air flow underneath and up into the smoker. You could also cut the whole bottom out of it as well.

    I'm so excited about my present!! After a Pita experience the other day trying to stuff some snack sticks with my grinder stuffer combo I bought a 5# stuffer this evening from the northern tool. It will be used tomorrow to stuff the sticks that weren't stuffed the other day. Can't wait!!

    I would agree with bear on this. Smoke them early keep them in the fridge and reheat day of in the oven. They will be just as good!
