    Bell Fabrication Smokers

That's how I do it. Cooking overnight is in my rear view mirror.

OK I Admit It - I'm a Coffee Snob. Who Else??

If you mean my post, having bought Community for 10+ years, I know it was different last time.

OK I Admit It - I'm a Coffee Snob. Who Else??

Man, I hope you're right. I have drunk Community since I was kid in Kenner. I had a Peanuts characters mug at 4 years old lol. I'll have to order some and see.

OK I Admit It - I'm a Coffee Snob. Who Else??

Maybe I'll try them again. I got a whole order that was medium roast at best. Not the classic dark, shiny, beans I loved for years. When I called to ask about it, a decade's long shipping customer, they were indifferent, at best. Just opened one of the bags from the last order I got. Just not...

OK I Admit It - I'm a Coffee Snob. Who Else??

@indaswamp, are you a Community Coffee fan? I was for years. Had it shipped up here to me, Classic Dark Roast. Somehow during 2021, it became a medium roast and I stopped getting it.

OK I Admit It - I'm a Coffee Snob. Who Else??

My current setup. What it produces. Seattle's Best Post Alley number 5. I had bought the San Fransisco beans at Costco someone mentioned earlier. Very good, but the 3 pound bag is too big to keep the beans fresh.

    Bell Fabrication Smokers

Yes, nitpicking. Just saying if you mention it to him, he will probably grind those flush himself. Maybe he got lazy on mine. Great pit, love it. No rust. Garaged every day and night when not in use.

    Bell Fabrication Smokers

24x48 version here, see my avatar. I feel like 4 wheels would be okay for moving in a straight line, but what happens when you have to maneuver it as I do to get it in and out of the garage? Only annoyances for me, if you can call them that, is the lack of flushness with the cook chamber and...

If My Beer Fridge Dies Tonight...

Yep, looking forward to more pics of this brisket. $2.99 for prime? Wow, I paid $3.99 the other day at Costco. Lucky you.

Breakfast monte cristo? I' am all in lol...

I don't disagree. I was young, but I could put down an order of Fried Cheese followed by a Monte Cristo. I was tons of fun.

    Re Hickory

Hickory mostly and red oak. That sounds like a good deal.

Breakfast monte cristo? I' am all in lol...

I was a Bennigan's manager in the early 90s. The Monte Cristo was very labor intensive. The meat was sliced in-house and portioned. The sandwiches were made 2-3 days ahead of time and wrapped in saran wrap so the bread would get a bit soggy. That way at point of sale, the batter held the...

    Smoked A Brisket Yesterday

I could really tell the difference from the laser marbling on the Choice. Is your just the flat? Costco sells those regularly. I was surprised when they only had Choice whole packers the day I was there.

    Smoked A Brisket Yesterday

Yep. Sure did. Not going to post any pics, however. Bought this one at Costco a few months back. They only had Choice packers. You heard that right. No Prime brisket that day. Not sure what I was thinking lol. Anyway, it still had good flavor from the smoke, but I see the error of my way and...

    Too good to be true?

Sorry for the multiple posts, but Craig is great after the sale as well. Gave me some great tips on running my pit and sent me some parts for free when my firebox handle broke. Great guy. I think he basically said to stop watching Youtube and leave the biscuits in the oven haha.

    Too good to be true?

No sealing of doors for me. Leaks a little, not enough to cause an issue. Great looking pit there. I wish I had known and thought of the hinged shelf. Guess I'll have to get a second Bell Fab sometime.

He will do basically whatever you want. I wish I was 45 minutes from him lol.

    Too good to be true?

True. I was in Fort Worth a few years ago and went to Academy to check them out. The quality difference from pit to pit on the floor was stark. Various things but noticeable. It is what led me to further research, this forum, almost pulling the trigger on a $3200 Yoder Loaded Wichita, and then...

    Better Food from Offset Smoker?

I'm guessing the best barbecue restaurants use offset smokers and for very good reason.
