Hahaha!! The fridge is a Maytag side-by-side. It must be a high horsepower model because it makes crushed ice like nothing. I've crushed a few things that I forgot in the ice box over the years. I can't believe it didn't break yet.
I did something similar with a few cans. I put them in the ice maker compartment then forgot about them. A little while later I was mixing up a drink and needed some ice. Put my cup under the ice spout and hit the button. It made a weird noise and next thing I knew there was beer pouring out...
Another seasonal favorite is just about done this year's run. Troeg's Nugget Nectar. Great stuff, definitely a hoppy beer, but not to the point of being super bitter. Usually it's available only in January/February, I was lucky enough to find a leftover 6 pack today at the store.
If NASCAR's intention with the new stage set up was to mangle as much sheet metal as possible, I'd say it's been a resounding success the whole weekend.

The winter break left my WSM a bit funky inside. I thought I'd do a good hot burn to clean it out. I got everything ready and then realized what I thought was an almost full bag of charcoal was actually only a few briquettes. So I figured I'd just use wood. I have piles of cherry and oak...
