    I use a Brinkmann special edition, it's big & heavy and it might not be the most cost effective and easiest smoker to use, but I wouldn't swap it for anything.  I use the firebox for grilling and also to  cold smoke, and for low & slow I use the whole thing.

    the holes are about the same size as my smoker, you lose a bit of dust filling but nothing excessive.  I carried out my experiment with chips and it failed, the chips kept going out.

    Thanks Wade, I am using embossed bags, I must admit that I did not wet the seals but I will try that, and have another play with it tomorrow.
