    I have a large mango tree in my yard. Not only is the bark reactive but so are the leaves and the wood. Ever taste an unripe mango? It taste like diesel fuel. I would not recommend using it to smoke in any form. There are many tropical trees that can cause a skin reaction.

    I don't know where your swamp is but I have have mosquito fish in my pond. No or very few mosquitos. The fish eat the larvae. It's like having mini piranha. Nothing escapes them.

    When I lived out West I had all of that & a wax candle heater. This was out where the Missouri meets the Yellowstone. My territory covered N Dak, E Mt, spent a lot of time on the high line driving in the Winter.

    I'm a bit more pessimistic. I would still call the credit card company and put them on notice. Hopefully the vendor will throw in a few extra and make sure they are fresh. I have a hard time understanding why those were shipped in the first place.

    Goat cheese can pair with a lot of things. Try some in scrambled eggs. It's good on it's own or as a base for various things. I am a goat cheese fan.

    Put goat cheese in freezer for 20min. Slice aprox 1/2" sections, egg wash and add whatever seasoning you want on it. Grill it. This one is on a bed of hash browns with Canadian bacon & eggs. Works with all kinds of things.
