       THE IOWA  CHOP WAS STARTED YEARS AGO WHEN THEY STARTED TO CUT CHOPS AT ONE AND A QUATER INCH KIND OF AN IOWA THING JUST A THICKER CUT. I LIKE TO SMOKE A WHOLE BONE IN LOIN THEN YOU GET CUT OFF THE BONE AN YOU GET NICE RIBS VERY TASTIE

           Got out my old Masterbuilt with add on side box and did chicken and Iowa pork chops  cut at one and a quater   smoked at 230 degrees for three hours tasted great happy smoking

                            The smokor side box came from target it is like 12x 12 x13 and screwed to of the side of a electric smoker that went bad so i mounted directly to the box an so has been a good add on for a charcoal an wood easy to control temps fun so far and good amount of smoke fun with...

    Masterbuilt smoker with sidebox

        My heating element went out on my Masterbuilt smoker.  Masterbuilt replaced my old one so I puchased a firebox and mounted it on the side of the old smoker.  Had my first smoke Sunday (ribs) and worked extreamly well.  Never got above 230 degrees.  Used charcoal and apple wood.
