Just a heads up for all, Walmart's by me have been clearancing grills and charcoal. So far this week, I have been able to pick up a Blackstone griddle with air fryer for $100 normally $397. Today i was able to get a little over 1.5 pallets of charcoal ( 38 - double 18lb bags for $10 each)...
I think this was a combination of it being end of season, supply shortages, and steel prices going up. The Brazos is now 20% higher in cost. I called up Academy's customer service and had them check their systems for one near me. Ended up driving 2.5 hours to pick one up August 7th. It was...

Thanks 416bigbore. Yes, this is my first and she hit 6 months last Friday. It already seems like its going by too fast.
I did end up welding in a 1/4 inch plate 1 inch from the top of the firebox to insulate the cooking chamber from the firebox, hopefully help save paint on top of firebox, and...
Hello everyone, long time reader first time poster. I have had an 18" WSM for about 7 years now and try to use it as much as possible. I've always wanted a larger smoker and about a year ago i was ready to pull the trigger on a 24 X 48 backyard cooker from Peoria Cookers. Well shortly after...
