My mate made one out of a baby milk can. As long as you can get it to draw, you are laughing. Then it's all about getting it to burn all the way to the bottom.
If you were using the Smokai pellets, I think it would be perfect, but for using wood chips, it's a little skinny - sometimes the chips...

It's 240V, so source a 110v (or 12V) equivalent.

There's nothing fancy, just a perforated tube, with a twist-lock that is how the body mounts to the smoker.

And I think I do. I deliberately didn't permanently fix the roof, so I can rearrange things to add a chimney. It does seem to draw OK, but having a stack would tidy things up and allow a 'managed' circulation of air.
