one of my greatest projects and I thank this forum for all the positive encouragement ,this is truly a great place to be with like minded gentlemen...the bacon came out great and my wife is after me to get more smoked soon.
Update: I got a couple of stainless eye hooks for the bacon hangers and put a roof vent on for the smoke draft, since I did not have a chimney . It's drafting beautifully.
If I'd had that boy with me at that time,that buck would still be a wish not a incredible reality- I pray to see him take a buck/doe one day,time is flying. I got a family sized ground blind for us ready to go. Thanks griz400.
