An adjustable vent in the fuel pan? Just lay a sheet of foil down covering all holes. Punch a hole out at a time until you find the sweet spot.
I personally have found that outer edge holes are all it takes, but, like said, try the foil method for finding out exactly how much air the fuel needs...
