Mak 1 Star General (2016 model) - Like New - Southern California
$1500. This is a like-new Mak 1 Star General grill. This is the 2016 model, with the larger surface area. I just purchased it and have only used it once. It has been cleaned, and basically looks like new. It was built 8/2/16 and I received it 8/5/16... so as new as it gets. It works perfectly...- toade

First Tri-Tip, first qview
Looks great. Last time I took the advice of a fellow member, pulled it a couple degrees early, and threw it on a hot grill for a few minutes to char the outside a bit. Really loved the way it came out. If you have a gas grill, definitely worth a try. -
Second smoke, questions
SmokinAl, Thanks for the response. It seemed like a had a pretty good amount of smoke coming out with just one end lit. Does having the water pan full effect how much smoke is absorbed, or does it not really make a difference as far as that is concerned? Do you usually light both ends? Do...- toade

Which gas smoker to buy???
Same question here. Saw both of those smokers on sale on a deal site, started doing more research (on this site and others) and am now convinced that I need a smoker to go with my regular grill (Weber Genesis). Only question is, which? Not to thread hijack, but I think my questions will help...
