Jake, that's not to far from me and if the price is right i would be willing to drive down there. all considering that your friend would want to let it go. if you check on it let me know and maybe we could work something out. I've been searching for a long time!
Atomicsmoke I would love one of those tanks but not exactly what I'm looking for haha!
AK, yeah that's what I'm looking for. I am not experienced with metal work at all and I've seen guys cut the pipe and weld in a band, I don't t think I'm capable of that right now lol. I wish I was but the...
I am looking for one of the 275 gal oval tanks. I live in Omaha Ne and I cannot find one anywhere and have been searching for months! Anyone out there have any leads or know where I can find one? Willing to drive and willing to pay! Please let me know! Thanks!

Ingliv3, I actually picked up a trailer very similar to yours that I am modifying and building my center feed RF smoker on to. I started by removing all the extra pieces the hold the boat.
It look awesome! I don't know if I will get that extravagant with mine but I definitely want a top on it...What size material did you used for the braces on the floor? I am stuck on what to use to make sure it is sturdy enough.
Trans, did you or are you building the trailer start to finish? I am converting a 20' boat trailer thinking of a similar idea as what you have. Just curious.....
I totally agree, I have been using a junk welder that is so frustrating to use just because is was a welder and I wanted to learn. I had to put a clamp on the feed wheels just so it would feed the wire. Needless to say I cannot wait to use my new one!!!!
