I have a masterbuilt electric smoker and it produced a smoke ring. Pork shoulder and turkeys smoke great on it. I have a pellet smoker for ribs and everything else. For a beginner the electric smokers are great. That's how I got started.

I'm new to this forum and so far I have found some very helpful tips. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Louisiana pellet grill. I'm looking for my first pellet grill and there are so many to choose from. I would like to stay around $500-$900. Any advice would be appreciated.
