    Gravity feed charcoal freezer build

I intend to build the firebox out of 3/8” plate and place it inside the fridge cabinet. So the heat of the fire will be contained inside the 3/8” firebox and the this metal inside will only receive radiant heat off the outside of the firebox,

I built a walk in cooler last summer and butchered two whole beef in it last fall. I am too cheap to pay for a coolbot so I picked up a PID controller off Amazon that came with a SOlid state relay and a $25 ac unit from the classifieds. Hello All, I'm new to the forum and to smoker building but I'm anxious to get started. I have wanted to build a smoker for several years but have not had the funds. I have about decided that I will never have the extra funds to build the smoker trailer of my dreams, so I'm going to do the best...

Hello All, I've been reading threads and browsing the forum for the last couple years and decided it was time to join up and get smoking.  I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota and am a transplant from West Texas.
