I found a brand new, in the box xl bge with nest on CL for $550. I thought it was too good to be true but it was!! I have a weber smoky mountain and in all fairness (to the wife) I will be parting with it to help fund my new egg. I do have some questions on the BGE.

I'm looking to expand on my dutch oven skills and want to know if they will work on the grill for low country boils and boiled peanuts etc. I have a burner, but would a boil taste better off the Kamado style grill? and can I get the water to boil on the kamado?

(probably could have cut a bigger hole but hey; it works) Wasn't a whole lot of information out here on building these for the kamado Kooker so I basically shot from the hip and it turned out very well.
HAHA, yeah my wife wasn't happy about "destroying" a perfectly good pot. I tried telling her it was going to get more use than any other pot we have in the kitchen and she proceeded to ask me which "grill" I was going to sell!! Iv'e had the thing for a few days and already cooked burgers...
Found the pot at Target for $21. Only issue I had was the top didn't fit on so I crimped the edges. Cosmetically I can't say she's pretty but I guess it has some character now and that sucker fits on pretty tight now. I added the handles on the vents because they did get hot and added the heat...
