    Not to burst your bubble, but did you calculate shipping into your costs? I seem to remember the least expensive shipping was over $100 :-( I think it was worth it, but I was VERY surprised by the additional cost I hadn't figured into my equation.

    Smoke, I actually went and looked up the PID. Almost wish I hadn't. It looks like a really cool device. I think it works like you are speculating. It works by turning the power on and off on the smoker but I'm guessing you would have to turn the temp all the way up on the smoker to avoid it...
