didn't check the temp from the smoker, just poked it a little to make sure it wasn't getting tough. It was just under 140 after pulling it off the grill.

Mine showed up Saturday and I put it to work almost immediately. Did some ABTs and some almonds with a row of the apple pellets. Took me a few tries to get it going but once I did it worked perfectly. Glad I found out about this thing.
I just ordered one as well after browsing these forums. I just used my MES 30 for the first time yesterday to smoke a brisket. It was quite a hassle to keep loading the chip tray, especially since I started at 2am.
