Thanks JC! I just bought a couple bags of the Oak from Academy today at lunch to try out. I've used the RO in the past but I end up with so many small crushed pieces. This stuff seems to be larger chunks.
Has anyone heard of or have experience with this stuff? My local sports store Academy has this for $15 for 20lb bag...it's supposed to be large lump coal...

Smoke them for 3 hours, wrap in aluminum foil for 2 then unwrap and finish off for 1 hour...in my experience, it never takes 3-2-1, more like 2-1.5-.5 at 225-250...but I don't like my ribs done to the point the bone pulls right out.
