    I didn't load a second row was just experimenting so figured I would load only one. I tried it with the loder closed and seemed like same results

    Testing out the mes gen 2 now with the amnps. I placed it above the slanted drip tray where the hole for the water pan goes. The chip loader is pulled out about 2 inches. As my vent is directly above on the left and not on the side it seems my amnps is producing a lot of white smoke and not tbs...

    Thanks bear. I asked about the gen 2.5 as my replacement but I would have had to pay 168 in additional costs. With all the issues I had with the gen 1 I didn't want to pay any additional amount. I will give your advice a try and report back results

    I had the same problem with gen 1. I went through two gen 1s and both would trip gfci. I just got a replacement gen 2 and so far it hasn't shut off or tripped the gfci

    Another thing to note is thus far this unit has not shut off at all....crossing fingers. I did one seasoning and one 4 hour smoke. Temperature swings were pretty bad though.

    Hi all, I originally had a gen 1 that after a month would randomly shut off. Masterbuilt's great customer service sent me another gen 1 that unfortunately shut off within 30 seconds of plugging it in for the first time. I thought perhaps it was my electrical and gave up smoking for awhile...
