    4.5lb brisket....could be better

    The smoke ring looks good, not great. Maybe don't trim the fat cap as much for a juicier hunk of meat and get something like an MNTS to add more smoke. Just my 2 cents.

    Has anyone here heard of or had any experience with GStacks Smokers out of Vallejo?

    If your in WC Vallejo is only a 30 minute drive from you. Check their website for a retail location. If they have one then go check it out. I'm a pellet burner myself but to each his own.

    McNeeley, Not sure what you're smoking on but am I wrong in assuming that it can be mixed in with the other pellets when using a pellet smoker or am I wrong? PS I'm a newbie so I'm willing to be wrong. :sausage:

    Need to vent a little !

    I've had the same problem with my SmokeDaddy hopper but I haven't ruined anything like ribs or butts yet. I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to call Dennis yet. He's a great guy so I'm sure he'll take good care of me when I do call him. Good luck buddy.

    Terry, I clean mine with dynamite. Of course that means I need to get a new one every time I clean it but I figure what the heck. You only live onece right? Happy belated April fools  ​ Congrats on the new Rec Etc. I've been bitten by the smoke bug a few years ago and came a couple years ago...
