Thanks for the welcome guys. First smoke turned out great - timing was off just a tiny bit and we ate dinner about an hour and half later than we were planning, but it was worth the wait! I did notice that the temp setting on the MES was reading about 15 degrees higher than what I was getting...- olathehusker

Hello everyone! I received a MES 30 for my birthday a week ago and I'm super excited to get started! I have done the initial seasoning on it and have a butt all ready to go tomorrow for some pulled pork.
