Never smoked before
Just started smoking on year's day and already addicted. Have sweet potatoes and whole chickens on right now and did wings last night. This site, and the search function regarding all questions is amazing. KC5TPY's advice is spot on... Have fun with the smoker....- nchuntsman

A definite rookie here...name is Rich...hunt and fish a ton. Asked for a smoker at Christmas...lo and behold... Given a BBQ-Pro vertical gas...seasoned last night...apple wood soaking now...whole chickens going on around 2:30 - 3:00pm tomorrow...GULP...any main points to look for, feel...- nchuntsman
