    Thanks for the info. My DH said it went there, but I said 'no' because it seemed like it would be harder to get the ashes out. Thanks for the info. I'll post some photos of our Q as soon as we decide to smoke. Parents are coming next weekend and they don't fancy BBQ. I might be adopted! Haha!

    Ok. I got it and it's assembled! The only thing i'm not sure about is where to put the Heat Resistant Ceramic Plate. Is that to be used for indirect cooking? Right now I put it on the lower rack and figured i could cook indirect on the upper rack... ??? The exploded view they included is...

    Do you still like your Vision Kamado? We are headed to Costco tomorrow to get one. $569.00. It includes the 'nest' stand, cover, 2 racks and 2 side tables. Anyone else using this brand?
