    Maverick ET-735 Issues

No word on a return yet :(  On a whim, I grabbed an old Samsung S4.  It worked as well. Somehow, this is locked into Samy and iphones.  And only certain ones. I did notice they have a list on the website now.  If I would had seen this before, I would not have jumped at it.  Even at the great...

    Maverick ET-735 Issues

I have called Maverick 3 times.  They have not been able to fix, and the person they were escalating to has not called either.  We might have a thermometer going back. :

    Off-site Links - Please Read

True, but Jeff has made the decision to allow the ads on the site.  At any rate, I apologize of posting any links.  Sort of strict, but I understand it is really hard to monitor on protect against!  You just need one bad link to mess up someones day and experience here on this great site. Ken

A-Maze-N vs ProQ Cold Smoke Generators

I sent Todd a PM as well a few days ago.  I would send him a direct email. (That you can find on his website, or email sales) to get a faster response.  Not sure, he must be really busy in the shop these days!   Ken

A warning if you MIcrowave you AMNPS pellets to dry them

I tried the warmup in my smoker method last night.  It seemed to help.  I still had a burn out around the 3 hour mark, but that could have been due to me opening the smoker a few times!  I am still intrigued around the "Mail Box" method for my MES that I might try!   Gonna give a buddy a call...

    Lone Star Grillz

Nice Looking Rig.  I am looking at them as a vertical for the back yard.  Shipping is a bit, but it is off-set by the fact I dont have to pay sales tax.  I am trying to compare them to Stumps, Myron as well as Humpreys and Meadow Creek.  His build quality and attention to details and features...

Competition Smoking on a propane smoker?? Is it done??

thats funny you mentioned that.  I read that Slapyodaddy has won 20 grand champions using WSM!  Now, of course I think he has as much money in electronics as the smokers themselves. I run a MES 40, which would never be allowed, but that box was really just to get me to the point of perfecting...

So here is an update.  I have tried with 4 devices now.  The only one that consistently works is a Samsung S6 running Andriod 5.1.1 The other devices include an ipad mini running 7.1.2 ios, the one plus 1 running 5.1.1 and a Google Nexus 7 2013 version running 5.1.1. It would be great to get...

    Maverick ET-735 Issues

I was really excited to get this from Todd.  Sort of a "Xmas gift for me!" Unfortunately, I am having similar issues. I am running Andriod 5.1.1 on a oneplus1 phone.  I have not tried it on an idevice, but after reading this thread, I will try that along with maybe a tablet or two and report...

    MES40 element/wiring repair question!

Big thanks to everyone, especially Dave and Bear.  I dont have the oxy on the connector yet, but initial dry run seems to have been successful! I did solder the connector (only on the flag connector side)  and I did not notice if the heat was going to melt the solder. Just used 60/40. I did...
