Hello and Welcome to this group.

Thanks for that. I will try to get the hang of starting my own posts. It takes me a while to understand how to use a new forum. I get there with internet  technology but it takes a while. Took me 3 years to get to grips with the allotment forum I use Di.

Hello and Welcome to this group.

Hi Wade. Thanks for all the info. A little more about myself... I am a passionate cook who makes everything from scratch; preserves, bread, icecream, cakes. The only things I buy from the supermarket are ingredients. I don't do ding ding meals. We have an allotment and 10 chickens that live at...

Hello and Welcome to this group.

HI. I am from East London/ borders of Epping Forest. We used to be Epping until they moved the borders and dragged us in to  Greater London. Just working out how to navigate around the site. I am not the best with a computer. Great in the kitchen or garden but a computer takes a bit of work.

Running a Bradley Smoker without water in the tray??

You can start the ProQ with a candle but I use a chef's  blowtorch, and even if you do start the ProQ with a candle/tea light you don't leave the candle in. I start the ProQ burning take the tea light out and then put the  ProQ in the smoker Nepas.

Running a Bradley Smoker without water in the tray??

We are limited to the types of smoker we can get in England. I have a landmann smoker and a Gas BBQ which I can use for some smoking but I wanted an electric smoker which would give me a more steady, reliable temperature for hot smoking, especially duck breasts and whole chickens. I bought a...

Hi there. I am  in London, England, near Epping Forest. I am a very keen cook and have a small business/hobby making and selling cakes, jams, jellies and chutneys. We grow our own veg and keep chickens. I am new to this smoking lark. I have only been doing it since May. I got into it because...

Running a Bradley Smoker without water in the tray??

Hi there. We don't have many smoking forums in the UK and I have been wondering about getting a Bradley smoker for a while but the cost of the  bisquettes is putting me off. I use a ProQ for cold smoking and was wondering if I could use this in the cabinet of the Bradley and use the temperature...
