I picked up a bag of JD chunks to try out and so far, Ive been pretty happy with it. Tried a few others that for one reason or another I didnt care for but for the couple cooks I have used it for in the Egg, I like it.
Best way to describe them is meaty Dr Pepper, definitely with a nod of Dr Pepper, lil spicy brown helped balance the sweetness out a bit.
I wouldnt say they are horrible, they were fine for dinner but we wont be buying them again.
We were doing our weekly shopping restock and I happened to see Johnsonville Dr Pepper inspired sausages.
Now, I like Dr Pepper, wife is a bigger fan than I am and we both like grilled sausages. Im not sure about them made together.
Seeing as happy wife, happy life is the house motto...
Last musical concert I went to was TransSiberian Orchestra a few years ago, as for comedy concert, we took our son to see Jeff Dunham a cpl years ago. Got our son tix for Xmas to go see Jeff.
Ill take any and all advice I can get. Trying to prepare myself for the potential task at hand and how to get the results that will make the Mrs happy without replacing the cabinets.
Only looking at it to determine is it oil, latex, water based, I have no plans on using old paint, plus, its not the correct color we want to paint the cabs.
Ill have to look at the paint that was left for us, not sure who painted the cabinets but like a lot of other things in the house, the previous owners purchased the house from a flipper, who really just put lip stick on a pig and left some shotty work for someone else to fix.

Current plan is to sand down the current paint, grain fill the oak grain, prime and paint.
From what Ive seen of Youtube vids, an orbital sander has been the go to...
Something I did last night, not sure if its a hack or just a twist, when making brownies, whether from a box or homemade, instead of plain water, sub in coffee.
If we have some leftover coffee from the morn Ill use that or of not we have some instant coffee packs, Folgers and Cafe Bustello...
I dont recall the color of the bag I have but its all oak and I have noticed some really big pieces in there.
Ill try using the chimney instead of the starters with it and using fewer pieces in the chimney and in the bottom of the Egg. I had gotten accustomed to putting a bunch in the bottom...
Since getting my BGE last year Ive tried a couple different brands of charcoal, BGE, Cowboy and now onto a bag of B&B charcoal.
I have a question about the B&B, is it harder to light than the other brands Ive used or is it just the bag I have. Ive used now on a 2-3 cooks and it seems it takes...
Not a cooking but storage hack, if you hate stained plastic containers from pasta sauce, spray the container with cooking spray before putting the sauce into the container.
As for fat/oil, we keep an empty large can by the sink we drain fat into, once the can is full, put it in a plastic...
MY wife has requested steak au poivre, sauteed shrooms and baked potato. As for dessert, she left that open, so think Ill make her some brown butter bourbon blondies with an appropriate ice cream to top it off
