Nice! Thats the kind of smoker i started off with. the only thing that stinks is the size limitations. I also found it was not usable in the winter without a better burner... wouldnt get up to temp... have fun, learn the ropes with it, and find a way to upgrade down the road.
Well.... its a "lazy Sunday" so what better way to spend it than smoking a pork butt and brewing some home brew! oh ya... Multi-tasking!

ok perfect! this was my thought process also. just wanted to make sure. i figured these PIDs were designed for ovens/kilns so they are used to the oven itself being able to hold and radiate some heat. I figured a few fire bricks would do the job. Also i didnt want to put the oven bottom...
got my ammo box all ready to go...
bead blasted the inside and got some stove rope to replace the rubber gasket...
