Thermometers finally came in. i put them in the oven to see if they all read the same, all 6 show 290 with oven set at 300, so I guess the oven os off a little.

I used the calculator all the way. Figured a 240 gallon tank due to the cutout, box is 36x24x22. Stack is 6"x34. Plate has 60 more sq in than firebox opening. I am waiting on thermometers, and have to scrounge grating and stuff for my racks. Then all my trailer accessories. Old welder is a 1956...
Went with reverse flow. Here is some of what I have so far.
