    I finally got to open my new smoker this morning and I am doing the preseason now. My question is if I should do the preseason with the vent open, closed, or somewhere in-between in order to let the nasty manufacturing oil smoke smell out of it? It is heat great with temp a 283 after only 30...

    Man, those look delicious! My wife insisted when I got the MES 30 that it was a Christmas present so I can't unbox it until Christmas. It's driving me nuts seeing that box sitting in the garage! I guess I could fire up my Kamado, but I really want to try my new MSE.
