    Pork belly costs?

    I was looking forward to making bacon, found my butcher want @4 bucks a pound with the rind on. Started wondering why they will charge me as much or more than a pound of processed and packaged bacon. Seems the bellies should be more affordable without the labor and materials of processing them...
