    MES 30" vs 40" - cast your vote!

    The MES 30 is the one I received as a gift.  It does a great job for me.  So, that's the one I voted for.  If it dies, I will study the market at that time and get the smoker that best suits my needs.  I am retired and normally only smoke for my wife and me, so capacity doesn't matter.

    Where in NC are you hailing from?

    I live on Lake Gaston, near Macon, NC.  I got a MES as a gift and I am  loving it.  Doing 1-2-3 Asian ribs today.  Down to the last hour and they are looking and smelling good.

    How Many Mes Owners Here?

    I just bought a MES 30 for $149.00 from Tractor Supply a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't beat the price.  Have already smoked a some pork ribs, chicken and Cornish hens on it already.  Didn't get the smoke ring on the ribs, but they tasted great.  Any suggestions? Chicken and Cornish hens also...
