    FINISHED BRICK SMOKER/GRILL

That is very nice, exactly what I want to build. I've one question, is there a divider between the fire box and smoke chamber?

Brick BBQ Pit And Smoker Build (Kansas Style)

Very nice. I've got what I hope is not a stupid question. In all the builds I've seen on here I can't tell if there is a division between the smoking area and the fire box. Is that just open from top to bottom or is there some sort of adjustable plate to vary the heat/smoke? Frank

    Shelf life?

Thanks, I made Jeff's sauce and didn't want to waste what I had left over. Sorry if I asked a question that's been asked before but I'm not the best navigator on the computer :) thanks again.. Frank

I've got a container of sauce I made and was curious if there is a shelf life that it should not be used after?

    Amazn smoke question

I hope this isn't a rediculus question, but can the Amazn smoke basket be used with a charcoal smoker such as the Brinkman smoke n pit? I would like to try the various wood flavors they have but wasn't sure if it would be feasible to use with charcoal. Frank

Had an idea ths morning that I wanted to share

I've been making my own fire starters. I take the shredded paper from our paper shredder and fill each section of an old egg carton about 3/4 full with the paper. Melt some parafin wax or old candles even, and pour over the paper until each section is full. Let cool. Call me cheap, but it works!

ShooterRicks Attitude Brats recipe and pics on the grill

Mouth watering! I love brats... just one question, I'm not familiar with one of the ingredients you list in your brats, soy concentrate. Is that the same as soy sauce?

    Any chile recipes ?

Great ideas, thanks. Looks like I may have to take a little from each and see what happens. The only downside is I have to go easy on the hot sauce and peppers as small children are involved. Anyway, thanks again looks like some good chile to be had at our annual bonfire this year. Take care

    Any chile recipes ?

I smoked a couple of chuck roasts this past week and after devouring one we have one left. I was thinking it would make for a very good chile and was hoping someone here had a recipe that would do it justice. Frank
